Reaching Out on Craggy
It was a foggy morning at the Craggy Gardens Picnic Area and I was called to draw the evergreen trees. They tend to loose their branches at lower levels and in the process reach out towards each other. This is the resulting image and I find it haunting and peaceful at the same time
This image has also served as inspiration for poets through the Wombwell Rainbow’s Ekphrasitc Challenge where poets were provided daily images to base their poetic efforts on.
This image is an original sketch done in water based inks from pens and markers.
